Question:
I had Hernia Repair in Oct.2004

I had a Hernia repair In Oct 2004, well just found out I have another one on the other side which is no biggy it isnt bothering me, so in no rush for that. But the Hernia I did have repaired is bothering me, I feel no lump thank-god but can I be adjatating it, I have this off and on burning pain, nothing that isnt bareable, but it comes and goes, I do, do lifting at work but have been really careful on what Iam lifting. the problem is the hernia that I had repaired is bothering me, and also I did not have Mesh done on my hernia. allanswers would be GREATLY appreciated. I had "pain" off and on with my hernia repair. When I looked it up it said that some people can get pain for up to a year.. cause unknown. Mine finally went and stayed away....

Hi, I just had a triple hernia repair and abdominal plasty done in Sept 04,. They used mesh on the largest hernia. I am still having pain where the hernia's were. But its pain I can live with. I was told by my PS that I could have pain there for up to a year if not longer, Good luck to you. Amy
