Question:
Does Dr. Aguirre gives direction to PCP on the follow up after surgery?

I am going to Dr.Aguirrre and my surgery schedule for April 9, 2004. Does Dr. Aguirre gives direction to PCP on the follow up after surgery? I have PCP she is wonderful but she never took care of a patient after WLS but if I let her know what she has to do she will help me. Thank you .    — JuliaV (posted on March 9, 2004)

My PCP has had WLS patients before and didn't contact Dr. Aguirre but, it is my understanding that Dr. Aguirre will talk to or email your PCP for follow-up advice. Good luck to you! Dr. Aguirre and his staff are wonderful.
