Question:
Has anyone else had odd abdominal pain?

I'm 11 months post-op and a few days ago I started having odd localized abdominal pain, in my lower right abdomen, along with nausea, a low-grade fever, . According to my doctor, it's not my gallbladder (too low), but he's not sure what it is. Ideas he had were possible appendicitis, ovarian cysts, or maybe endometriosis. Anybody else experienced something similar? Is it related to my surgery or hernia?    — [Anonymous] (posted on January 30, 2002)

Hi there! Hope you soon feel better. I had a pain similar to that two years ago. Turns out I had an ovarian cyst that had burst. I went to the emergency room and they did an ultrasound that found it. Since it had burst there was nothing they could do for it. I got some antibiotics and eventually the pain went away. If you have a gynecologist, I would call him/her and talk with their nurse. It can't hurt to check! Wish you well! Let me know what you find out!
