Question:
Cook Book
When are you going to write that WLS cookbook? WOW, Ava how did you know? Yes, I'm gathering recipes now and collating them by group and I have nutritionist figuring out the exact protein, calories etc. contents of each. I also have a graphics person working on the cover etc. I will have everything in it that is on my webpage (all the surgery types, PROS & CONS, net address to all the research, great support groups LIKE THIS ONE!!! And of course all my recipes (I have over 300 and counting).. And you know why?? "Because this diet is for life" My life, your life, all our sisters and brothers life.. We can do this together.. I'm gathering recipes that will satisfy our cravings for protein and sweets (fat/sugar free) although if you get enough protein in you won't should not crave sweets.. ;-) — Victoria B. Hi Vicki, I think your cookbook idea is great. Please let me know when you
have the finished book. We have a support group here and I am sure
everyone ( even the doctor ) would be interested in buying some.

Vicky, Thank You!
That's alot of work. What your saying is so true. When we
all feel there is no one else there for us, we have each
other. My surgery is w/Dr Husted on 02/21. Take care.

I was hoping that was what you were up to. I tried the peppered fish recipe
and loved it. Thanks for the hard work and responding to your emails. I
look forward to seeing it all in print.
