Question:
Is it possible to have a reversal of a distal RNY?

I would appreciate hearing from surgeons as well as patients who have had reversals. Reasons for reversals. I have been told that my operation performed by Dr. Salmon from Edmonton, I would lose the sphincter which would cause reflux of juices coming back up all the time and especially when lying down. Not an answer, really, but a question. How long ago was yoru surgery done? Have you had this bad experience yet?

I have also had a procedure done by Dr. Salmon in Edmonton. I would also like to hear from other patients of his. I am also thinking of having my procedure reversed and would like surgeons to guide me along in making appropriate decisions. Has anyone else had a total revision? What was your health like prior and following the reversal? Can I be in for more trouble than it is worth?
