Is it possible to have a reversal of a distal RNY?

I would appreciate hearing from surgeons as well as patients who have had reversals. Reasons for reversals. I have been told that my operation performed by Dr. Salmon from Edmonton, I would lose the sphincter which would cause reflux of juices coming back up all the time and especially when lying down. Please let me know what you have heard or experienced. Thank you.
