Question:
Can anyone give me any info regarding a Dr. Charles Baum?

I found that my insurance will approve me, but I have to go to The University Of Illinois at Chicago Obesity Clinic. The Dr. is Dr. Charles Baum. I cannot find anything on either the clinic or him in the internet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks    — Karla R. (posted on July 16, 1999)

Hi Karla, Isn't it ironic that I came across your question. Yes. I know Dr. Charles Baum. In fact, I saw him this past Friday, June 2, and discussed my options for weight loss. My only option at this point is surgical intervention. You will find him to be a very warm, caring and compassionate physician and a wonderful human being. He can be reached at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is Director of Clinical Nutrition and Weight Loss.
