Question:
Does anyone else have problems with vomiting & diarrhea together?

I'm just under 4 months post op and with only one exception the only time I have vomited I've also had diarrhea at the same time. Not a fun experience! It doesn't happen often, but when it does I feel terrible. Anyone out there have the same problem or can offer advise?    — [Anonymous] (posted on December 28, 2000)

Hi, I've had vomiting with diarrhea only once. No, it wasn't fun and I hope it never happens again. I was so nauseous the first few weeks that when I used the bathroom and it smelled bad I'd gag... I'm so glad that's about over with... haha (the gagging - not the smell)

I did vomit and had diarrhea once. I had eaten a fried egg in oil and immediately got sick.

I have had similar problems if I eat greasy foods. It is not quite the same thing as dumping, but sure is miserable anyway. If I avoid fatty foods, then this problem doesn't happen.
