Question:
What are my chances of something going wrong after surgery?
Lately, I have been hearing horror stories about people dying due to having the surgery, or getting an infection and kaiser not wanting to take care of the patient and people gaining all their weight back plus more. I'm getting cold feet. I should be hearing from San Diego in the next couple of months. Can anyone help me? — Bonnie D. (posted on October 9, 2000)

Hi There,
Your chances are just what you say chances
buy, my question is who are you putting
your trust in, surgery, or God. Because
God is guiding and leading, those who turn
to Him and ask for that help. I was 55 yrs.
old when I had my surgery, and I have heard
all kinds of stories, and even known some
people personally, who did not make it. But,
their chances without the surgery were also
very mimimual. I was 400lbs. and am now 58
and at 140lbs. and I give God all the credit.
He gave me the Faith in Him, and I still hand
onto that today. If you want to make it you
will. If you want the personal support you can
reach me at [email protected]. My name is Linda
Holland, and my profile is on theis site. I have
made a decission to help others, like God helped
me.
