Question:
Is there anyone with Humana that has been denied?

I have Humana for my health insurance and they said they were denying my surgery because of the employer my husband works for did not have it in a contract. Is there anyone out there that has had Humana turn them down for this surgery and what can I do to get this covered or approved. If you would like to email me my address is [email protected]. Hello! I have Humana PPO insurance through my husband's work and they have an exclusion policy. They denied me and I'm currently trying to figure out a way to have the surgery. The owner's of the company even went to bat for me and spoke to Humana to try to work something out and they still refused to reverse their decision even though my PCP has said it is medically necessary and I have several co-morbidities. The owner's even offered to pick up part of the claim. I spoke to one of the attorney's in Mr. Lindstrom's firm and they seemed to think they could get the decision reversed, but I decided I want to try to find an attorney in KY because as much as Humana has been a pain I'm sure I will end up in court over it.
