Question:
Any one have dents in body , that seem to have no tissue underneath?

i am 18 mo post op and @ goal wt. i recently noticed a large "dent" at the top of my buttox. it feels like there is no tissue underneath it. i asked an ob Dr. to look at it and he said w/ my lg amount of weight loss it could be that I lost a pocket of cellulite. it really has me scared. it is very noticable and i am worried that something is bad wrong w/ me or i am just deformed now. please let me know if any of you have had anything similar. thank you    — Monica L. Hi Monica, My stomach above the belly button is kinda like that especially when I sit down its like all caved in but I like it ALOT better than the way it was. Good Luck to you!

11 mos post op here. I have what I think you are describing. It looks like someone took a big bite out of me. Mine is below my belly button, It's like a hole. An area that is obviously missing something. But, it's only the fat that is missing. This is the main reason that I would contemplate PS for the area. I really dislike it. You can see the 'dent' when I wear a bathing suit. Oh well, what's a girl to do?

I asked this question twice about four months ago. About three years ago when I lost 25 pounds, about 1/3 of the way down from the top, my right thigh developed a "dent" in it. The way I described it was that it looked like someone had sucked out a portion of fat from that area, then taken a staple gun and stapled my skin to the bone to create a very deep indentation (sorry for the gross visual, but it's so hard to describe). It was really embarrassing when I wore shorts, and i felt deformed. When i gained weight, this indentation went away, but now that I've lost 52 lbs, I worry that it will happen again because my thighs are SOOOOO fatty. I never really received any answers that would explain what it was or why it happened, just wanted to share that I can relate.(Proximal OPEN RNY - 7/7/03; 227.6/176.6/132.0)

I have a similar thing under my left arm. Doesn't hurt, just this bent. I think it was formly a strech mark that just caved in.
