Question:
I am searching for a Dr. in DE who performs lap-band wls, can anyone help me out?

I have been researching many wls websites and have found Drs.in De who perform by-pass surgery, but I cannot find any Dr. who does lap-band. I've looked under bariatric surgeons and lap-band websites. Any suggestions?    — Susan D. (posted on January 3, 2003)

I went to the last support meeting at Christiana Care in December and I heard a rumour that Dr. Wynn would be starting lap-band at some point because of the growing popularity. I would imagine it's still down the road a bit, but maybe you could give them a call (Drs. Wynn and Irgeau currently work out of Christiana Hospital) to find out the particulars. Hey! I too had Dr. Wynn & Dr. Irgau perform my surgery (on 9/30) Dr. Wynn told me that they are going to start doing the lap band soon, maybe already! You should give them a call. They are a wonderful team!!! <3 Chrissy
