Question:
Aetna vs. Kaiser - QUESTION.

I currently have Kaiser in So. California but am considering switching to Aetna (which I had a couple of years ago). Kaiser has a requirement that you be within their network for a year. Does anyone know if Aetna has the same requirement? If I switch to Aetna, I don't want to have to wait another year to begin a "new" WLS process. We have Aetna US Healthcare. We only had it for 5 months before I requested approval. I do not know of any time reqierments

hi there, i had only had the insurance with aenta for 8 months when i was approved. 6 months prior, i had to have a hysterectomy, it was never questioned. for wls, i was approved in 2 days! good luck!
