Does anybody had Humana ppo.....

I am very confused about my insurance, I don't really know if I can go ahead with my surgery, without having a lot of money in front, because I think I have to have the 25%, for the surgery, so my question is...Can I make payments, or I have to have the whole amount in cash...And also they want me to have the surgery in another hospital that my insurance doesn't cover..Vista hospital, Will they accept me?, and if they do, I am sure this is going to be more expensive for me. Your best bet would be to get a copy of your policy and read the coverage carefully. Call the insurance company and explain your situation and ask them what they will cover since it will be different depending on if you are in-network or out of network and it sounds like you are out of network at least for the hospital which means you will probably have a larger portion to pay. Even if somebody else has the same insurance, their individual policy could be different since every employer can have a different contract with the insurance co. As for making payments, contact the surgeon/hospital and ask if they can set up a payment plan for you.
