Question:
Whats taking my PCP so long??

I have done everything to get in to see the surgeon, my bloodwork , psych eval, support groups...everything! The only thing I am waiting on is a referral letter from my PCP and a letter showing proof of birth control.....I would have never geussed I would be waiting on her of all people....I've been calling all week leaving messages with her nurse and she tells me "oh, it's on her desk, she just has to sign off on it" well, it's been almost a whole week I've been hearing that! Stop by your pcps office and tell them you need that referral. Things take time but with your smiling face there it should get moved to the top of the pile. Mention you will be visiting again if its not done soon. Be nice but leave them with the impression you could become a pest.:( A weeks not bad, but you dont want it to turn into a month...
