Question:
does anybody have scar tissue after WLS surgery?

Hi! I just saw my surgeon for my 5 month post op visit. He said that he felt some scar tissue at the sight of my new pouch. He said that it was alright. I have no pain but should I worry that something could happen at the site of the scar tissue? Did anybody get told that they have scar tissue after their surgeries? Scar tissue is normal and expected. I had galbladder surgery 6 months after my WLS. The surgeon took pictures of my scar tissue and adheasions and showed me in my followup appointment. It is normally harmless, but in extreme cases can cause pain.
