does anybody have scar tissue after WLS surgery?

Hi! I just saw my surgeon for my 5 month post op visit. He said that he felt some scar tissue at the sight of my new pouch. He said that it was alright. I have no pain but should I worry that something could happen at the site of the scar tissue? Did anybody get told that they have scar tissue after their surgeries? Thanks Tracy
