Question:
Has anyone in Chico California been approved by

Pacificare insurance and what Dr did you use? I have medi-cal but uc davis is running me in circles,because obviously they don't like to work on medi-cal patients,they told me 2 then a 3 year wait,and the Dr that has my paperwork is on a month vacation. Bull! I am getting pacificare and want to know who to see in Chico or the surrounding area. Any info would be great.Thanks!    — Brandy P. (posted on July 1, 2001)

Brandy - I don't know if he takes Pacificare, but call Dr. Cooper's office in Chico. He performs RNY Gastric Bypass (open I think). Also, again, don't know if they take Pacificare - but try Dr. Waldrep or Dr. Billy in Roseville, CA. I think if your Pacificare is the HMO, it will depend on who is your primary care physician and what medical group they're linked with (i.e., Sutter Med Grp, Hill Physicians Med Grp, etc) Hope this helps.
