Question:
Patients of Dr. Paul Wizman in Margate Florida, I have a question!

I have completed my file with Dr. Wizman's office and they were supposed to be sending off my paperwork for insurance approval. I called Dr. Wizman's office yesterday and they said that Dr. Wizman wants to see me in his office again due to a "situation" with my physcological evaluation. I went through a physc. eval. with Dr. Moorehead's office in Ft. Lauderdale and it was smooth sailing. They wanted to find out whether or not I was able to make a decision about bariatric surgery and if I understood the risks. I have absolutely no previous mental condition; I have never been hospitalized for mental illness or have never attempted suicide. I am on Zoloft for depression, but who isn't!! In fact this is the 2nd physc. eval. that I have had with the exact same person (about 2 years ago). What could Dr. Wizman want to see me for? Has anyone ever had this happen. I am really worried. I have been attempting to get this surgery for over 2 years now. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your advice.    — Tara J. (posted on November 22, 2003)

I have Dr. Wizman, But he never said anythng to me about my pych. eval. Did you actually get a copy or read your eval? Maybe it was something you said to the shrink that he wrote down. I wouldn't worry about it, im sure its nothing, Good luck.

Helo! I too have Dr Wizman, and nothing was said about my psych eval, maybe during your evaluation you said something which he mistook negatively and maybe you have to just clarify it? I hope everything goes well, feel free to email me if needed... also- if in case you may have to get another psych eval done and want to go to another person, I went to Dr. Perovich, he was very very good and I would recommend him to anyone! =o)
