Question:
Ok just out of curiousity, who is going by the ideal weight chart on here or by their

own personal goal weight? I am 5'2 and now at 152, I set a goal weight of 140 but now I am rethinking it to 130, according to the chart on here at 140 i am still clasified as over weight, and I dont want to be. It states my ideal weight should be 127, SO I am just wondering what you are all setting your goals at and what made you set them at that weight????    — Deanna Wise (posted on January 3, 2003)

I'm 5'1". My chart wt was 122-129, which suited me fine, since I wanted 125. I settled 110-115, which was even better. BUT by some charts, I'm pudgy! They use 5 ft = 100#, 5'1" would be 105, etc. 5# for every inch! But they don't take into consideration bones. By chart, my bones are large, amazingly. I still have big feet (but small hands) for a person my height, relatively, big ribs, small hips. I think I was put together from a box of spare parts. LOL!

I'm 5'2 and weight 128 and am vey comfortable at this weight. I knew that 140 was still too much. Your body stops at a certain point too when it feels you are at your goal weight. I've maintained 128 for the past couple of months so I think my body is telling me this is my goal weight.
