Question:
What will get rid of this gut?
I have been going to Curves about 4-5 times a week and i can see a great difference. I lost 18 lbs. and 14 lbs. body fat my first month (Sept.). But I am losing everywhere but in my lower belly. I have a large roll under my belly button and I can't seem to find an exercise that targets that area. Everything that I read about crunches says that they will build muscle but you have to get rid of the fat to see the muscle. Anyone have any ideas of what I could try? Thanks~ Candi — Candi B. A tummy tuck. Seriously, sometimes that's the only thing that will get rid
of that "apron" of fat. At -125 pounds, it's still "hanging
around" for me (and I mean that literally).

Yep, tummy tuck - sorry! I am going in for a tt consult tomorrow! I am
crossing my fingers that by some miracle insurance will pay.

Candi, plastic surgery may be your only option. Whether your skin bounces
back depends on how overweightyou were, your age, skin elasticity,
genetics...some are lucky.

Lie on your back with your hands palm down about 6 to 10 inches from your
side. With your knees bent and legs spread about 1 to 1 1/2 feet apart try
to bring your knees up toward your chest. You should feel this in your
lower abdomen. I do 3 sets of 10, but be careful, this one will hurt when
you are done. If you have a partner to help you lie on your back with your
partner standing at your head. You will hold onto their ankles for
support. Lift your legs up so they can grab your ankles and push them
away. You will resist this motion and swing back up. Do 10 each way,
center, left and right. Good luck.
