Question:
Protein before or after exercise?
I read somewhere that protein supplements work best when combined with exercise. They recommended drinking your "shake" either before or after exercise - but I can't remember which one it was! Does anyone know? Is it before or after? I just joined Curves this past week and want to get the most efficient use out of my membership as well as my protein supplements. Anyone know about this? I would say afterward because it rebuilds the muscle that is affected
during exercise. I can't remember what the exact terms are that explain
it, but I know that they say to drink it after exercise.

If you were only going to do ONE, it'd be after. Within 45 minutes, they
say. Many serious exercise people do one before and one after. I'm not a
serious exercise person, but I am a serious protein person, so I drink one
on the way to the gym and one while I'm getting dressed after.
