Question:
How do I add links on my webpage?

I have noticed that many members here have started their own webpages documenting their journey. I have visited many and love each and every one. FINALLLY to my question...I decided to start my own homepage and was able to enter text and a link to this site but can't seem to figure out how to add things like the banner for this site and the BMI calculator, also a counter, images etc. If someone could please help me I would appreciate it. Thank you much.    — Lori M. (posted on November 6, 2001)

Hi Lori, If you go to a page and see where they have added links you can right click your mouse on that page and click on "view source" This will bring up a note pad showing the code for that page. If you sift thru that code you can see how they have done things. Maybe this will help. If not email me and I'll help you some. = ))

Lori, it looks like you're using AOL Hometown to create your website. You can add banners from obesityhelp by right clicking on them and saving them on your computer. Then go to "Add Image" while you're creating your page or editing an existing page--Go to "My Pictures", Browse, select the image, and upload it. *Note*, pictures are added the same way. You have to use HTML to add the BMI Calculators. You can copy and past the HTML from obesityhelp and when you are creating your page or editing an existing page, click on "Insert" top of the page and then "Advanced HTML". You can paste the HTML here.
