Question:
Is there a such thing as sending

I have sent in a "package" to my insurance including medical records, pictures, diet history (Dr supervised & not), PCP letter of recommendation, personal letter of request, family history, and WLS articles. So my question is I see the surgeon on August 9, do I need to resubmit all this information again? I have found numerous articles since and would like to have surgeon to send them with her package, but I wonder if this is "Too Much" information.    — Lynda T. (posted on July 18, 2001)

Lynda, bring everything you can for your Dr. to add to your request to the insurance.. I had kept copies of the letter I sent to my primary physcian with the run down on my medical health problems, past attempts.. diets ect., as well as family health issues ect. and the nurse attached it along with the request for surgery! good luck!
