Desperately looking for information on Chrons Disease and wls.

I was diagnosed with Chrons disease in 1995, had surgery to remove a small portion of my intestine and have never had any other symtoms or signs of having the disease. Could I be a candidate for wls. Desperately seeking information on this topic.    — K P. (posted on June 27, 2000)

Hi K, Dr. Rutledge in NC does a bypass that was originally performed on patients with gastric disease. He has been very successful. You might look at his site at onelist.com. Hope this helps!
