Desperately looking for information on Chrons Disease and wls.

I was diagnosed with Chrons disease in 1995, had surgery to remove a small portion of my intestine and have never had any other symtoms or signs of having the disease. Could I be a candidate for wls. Desperately seeking information on this topic.
