Question:
Has anyone with BC/BS of TN. Blue Preferred PPO had problems getting approved?

I just found out that my husband's work is switching to BC/BS of Tn. Blue Preferred PPO June 1st. I was wondering if anyone has been approved with this insurance? If you have been approved or denied, I would like to hear from you. Thank you!    — Stacy P. (posted on May 15, 2000)

I am covered by BCBS with a PPO. We have had it about 2 years now and i was approved in 2 days. They are very good at approving this. I did a little looking into it too and I found that everybody that has this type that meets the requirements to have it done has had no problems getting it to go through. Good luck. My husband's plan is BC/BS of TN.It had an exclusion in it that said we will not cover services or supplies used to treat obesity.Bobby Henesee at Right Weigh said it wasn't appealable.Hopefully yours will be different.Good luck!If you have any questions just email me.
