Question:
I have N & V and am jaundiced why?
I have been nauseous for moe than 4 weeks with dry heaves. Intake has decreased to almost nothing. Ultrasound, CT of abdomen and radioactive colangeogram have not visualized the gall bladder. Internal medicine tels me that labs indicate obstructive disease (gall stone) and surgeon doesn't agree. All I know is that I need help and I need it immediately. I am concerned about the dehydration and long term effects of nausea and jaundice. Any advice will be greately appreciated. My Insulin requirement is increasing despite the decrease in oral intake. Charlotte, you need help immediately. What you describe IS NOT normal.
Sounds like you have liver problems which causes jaundice. Left untreated,
you could develop severe and serious complications. Your doctor has a screw
loose-I'd threaten him with malpractice and do it. Get another doctor, even
if you have to go to the emergency room. You could wind up there anyway if
what's going on with you progresses. I don't mean to sound like an alarmist
but what you describe sounds very serious. GO!!!!!
