If you don't need a referral from your pcp with your insurance then start
researching plastic surgeons in your area. Go to at least 3 consults. Find
out prior to your consult whether they accept your insurance or if they
will help you get remimbursed. Depends on your financial status and what
you can afford to do. I do know the insurance co will want documentation of
pain in shoulders and/or back that needed treatment. The PS office may
refer you to an orthopedic doc to get a letter supporting your need for a
reduction. A letter from your Pcp would also be helpful. Good luck. Feel
free to email me.

Kim brings up a lot of good points. There are MANY ways to do a breast
reduction/lift. Some techniques simply remove the excess weight and that's
it...very little regard for the way the breasts are shaped. Others may
have extensive scarring. So see a few doctors, look at the "before and
afters" and decide who is right for you. Some refuse to take
insurance on these kinds of cases, so you may need to shop around.
