Question:
I am almost 10 months out, only lost 92lbs.
I am almost 10 months out, started at 298, only lost 92lbs. I thought I can at least 100lb weight loss by now. EVEYONE is losing weight faster than me. I am so frustrated right now. My diet has weeks where I do excellent, protein, water, exercise..then I have bad weeks. Anyone else lose what I have? Suggestions? I plan to keep the exercise consistent, I finally found a protein shake I like so I will start those this week. But until now I eat a lot of cottage cheese. My sugar intake can be less.. I need help or encouragement. — Lakeisha H. (posted on July 9, 2003)

Although it may be hard to believe, not everyone is losing weight faster
than you. If you go to http://clos.net/predict-wt-loss.htm you will see
that you are right in the middle of the pack for weight loss. Do you keep
track of your calories, fat, carbs, protein? Try using fitday.com. You'd
be surprised at how much you are or are not eating. Your "slow"
weight loss could be due to too many calories, not enough calories, too
many carbohydrates (it sounds like you might be "carbing out" on
sugar), not enough protein, not enough exercise, etc, etc. I would keep a
food diary for a week and then see if you can figure out how you could
accelerate your weight loss.

Hello, I am slower than you. I am happy with the weight losshowever, I
wish it was more. I hope that I can continue to lose. To be honest I am
really down in spirits. I always try to remind myself that I will continue
to lose weight just try to stay focused. Good luck to you by the way I am
down 70 pounds and I started at 331lbs.
