Question:
has anyone ever experienced hunger only when they have been lying down awhile?

i am 2&1/2 weeks post open rny and after lying down for a while i get real hunger pains- they go away when i get up but then come back again when i lie down- i shouldn;t be hungrty at these times- any ideas? it's very strange!! 235/212/? open rny 6/2/03    — Jannie N. (posted on June 19, 2003)

Are you sure they are hunger pains? It might just be pain in your tummy from your body working on healing itself. I'd ask my surgeon about it. Especially if it is consistent or gets worse. Hugs!
