Question:
Need to know the scoop amount for vitalady powders
I just received protein powder samples from vitalady and some say 1 scoop and some say 1 1/2 scoops but the samples didn't come with a scoop. Exactly how much is in a scoop? Say by teaspoons or tablespoons? How can I measure? — Tammara D. (posted on June 7, 2003)

I have ordered three different proteins from vitalady, each from a
different maker and I have found that each scoop is different. I don't
think there is a universal scoop, unfortunately.

Each sample you get is one serving, so you don't really need a scoop. If
you find one you like and order a full container, there will be a scoop
included with that container. I think the samples are to be mixed with 4
oz of water, but I'm not sure. You might go to her website to find out or
email her if the info isn't there.

If I'm correct, I believe that the info on the sample packet is just an FYI
for how much of that particular protein is needed in order to make 1
serving....and that serving will be what is in the sample bag. HTH....J

You're all correct. I think it is a plot by the mfrs to drive us all nuts.
As a rule of thumb, with whey, 30g protein = appx 1/3 to 1/2 C powder.
And yes, every mfr uses a different sized scoop. But the actualy protein in
most of these types is going to be 80% of the powder. And yes, 4 oz of
water is a good start, then adjust to taste. And again, different brands
taste better with more, some better with less.
