Question:
Anyone out there have Humana PPO and an exclusion for WLS and get approved ?

Or if you were denied any info you mught have about the policy . What about an HMO policy ? Are they getting approved ? If I can't get coverage with the PPO , I can change the policy to an HMO in Sept. , but hope I don't need to .............. thanks    — patti G. (posted on April 13, 2003)

Paty, I have Humana PPO, and I am waiting right now for approval, but the book that they gave me said, that they will accept to pay for that surgery if your BM is 40 or over and only if it's necesary, mine is 45, so I hope they will accept me, I don't know how much do I have to put down for the surgery either, I think they only pay 70 or 80 %, I am allready paying some deductables from my pre op tests, I just received a bill from my cardiologist (493) DOLLARS. Anyway, you can email me and I will keep you posted about my approval and the insurance. Good Luck........
