Question:
Is there an all-in-one vitamin
I am awful at remembering to take all my vitamins and was wondering if anyone recommended a one shot vitamin. I've looked into seasilver and vista but wanted to get some input from the group. Now I take two chewable multi-vitamins, 2 iron carbonly, 1500 mg liquid calcium citrate, sublingual b12, 1000 mg biotin. It is such a drag to remember to take them all. I use the Isotonix vitamins. It's powder, and you mix it into water. First
thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, I mix my vitamin, and half my
calcium with water, and then I add it to a little orange juice (it's orange
flavor). Then in the afternoon, or evening, I take carbonyl iron and sub
B12. Then at night, on an empty stomach, right before bed, I mix another
calcium. This is the easier that I've found. I like the isotonix vitamins,
especially the calcium. It's MUCH better than trying to choke down any
other calcium that I tried. It's a pain, but the more I do it, the more
natural it becomes. Since we'll all be doing this for the rest of our
lives, we just have to make it part of a routine. If there's an easier way,
I want to see it too!! :)

There are many vitamins that won't absorb if mixed with other vitamins.
One example is the iron and calcium. One prohibits absorbtion of the
other. So you will never be able to take them all at once, and if you do,
its a waste of good vitamins. You will have to come up with a schedule or
a system that will work for you. I take a calcium citrate 500 mgs. first
thing in the morning. Then at mid-morning breakfast, I take my multi,
iron, B, E, and C. Later in the day I take another calcium. At dinner, I
take another multi, B and C. Before bed, I take another calcium. I take
some really great vitamins that are all natural, and come in blister-packs
where all of my vitamins are in one pack. I can take a pack in my purse so
that if I'm out, I have my vitamins handy. I don't have a zillion bottles
to open daily. It does make things easier. But everyone has their system.
There are also pill timers that have alarms on them that you can find on
the internet to help you remember. I have given that some consideration
knowing how important it is for us to remember our vitamins.

I've had good luck with Vita4Life. My surgeon recommends them for all of
his malabsorptive WLS patients. The web site is www.vita4life.net.
