Question:
Has anyone gotten a blood clot near there hip?

I have a blood clot near an incision by my right hip which has been extrememly painful to the point of not being able to walk. Was wondering if anyone else has had that problem and what they did to help it and/or get rid of it. I am very desperate as I cannot take the pain much longer. I did have a cat scan that said it was a blood clot. Need to call my surgeon tomorrow to see what he says to do, I was in the ER when they discovered the blood clot. By no means should you have to live in pain. Call your surgeon and if that doesn't help then go to the hospital. Why didn't they keep you in the hospital when they found it? Well anyways pain tells you when something is wrong. Someone has to have an answer for you
