Has anyone gotten a blood clot near there hip?

I have a blood clot near an incision by my right hip which has been extrememly painful to the point of not being able to walk. Was wondering if anyone else has had that problem and what they did to help it and/or get rid of it. I am very desperate as I cannot take the pain much longer. I did have a cat scan that said it was a blood clot. Need to call my surgeon tomorrow to see what he says to do, I was in the ER when they discovered the blood clot.
