Question:
Does anyone have a letter of medically necessary from their doctor to the insur. comp

WLS is not covered on the policy I have with BC/BS of South Carolina unless it is medically necessary. My family doctor has referred me to a surgeon but the insurance company wants a letter of medically necessary. Does anyone have a letter that my doctor could use as a guide line? Hun I have BCBS Health Options (Blue Care) I have everything I sent to them. I wrote my own letter and had the doctor sign it. The doctor's office said it was an amazing letter ... I got approved in 2 days, so it must have been :-) If you want a copy of mine, email me at [email protected] ~Diane~
