Question:
Has anyone had Dr. Zagorski yet?

I am still very new to this and I finally have my first appt with surgeon. I was wondering if anyone has had Dr. Zagorski yet. I've looked through all the postings and can't find anything. I hear he's new to Hawaii, and of course and skeptical. If I don't like him will Tri Care let me see a civilian doctor? My husband is an active duty marine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Veronica, There are a couple of ladies in our support group that have gone to Dr. Zagorski. They like him. If you would prefer to be seen by an outside physician, be prepared for a long and frustrating wait. Some people have been waiting for six months to schedule surgery even after they have been approved by Tricare! I have been approved to see a civilian surgeon but am going to try to go through Tripler so it won't take as long... Decisions, decisions!! Have your PCP make a referral to a civilian physician ASAP. Good luck!
