Question:
How is this going to work out?!
Hi everyone! When you are drinking protein shakes are you supposed to be using them as a meal replacement? And are you supposed to drink like 8oz all at one time over a period of like 40 minutes?? If so......how are you supposed to do this as well as eat the rest of your meals throughout the day and drink all that water throughout the day?? Especially with such a small tummy!! It all seems like too much! How does it all work, where does it all go!! PLEASE, someone help me out on this one! Thanks! — Jennifer M. (posted on January 10, 2002)

I use desighner Whey as a supp. I only have to mix it with 3 0z of milk,(or
water) I like it with skim milk. 17.5 grams of protein, but, I only have to
get down 3 oz. I put it in the feezer to get very col/frozen. Much better
for me than 6 or 8 oz. I do 2-3 a day. I like choc and strawberry mixed
together, 1/2 and 1/2 scoop.

Have you tried putting your 2 sc in 4 oz of water? It's fairly thin and you
can eventually get the hang of spacing things out right. Eventually, this
is just a beverage, as far as texture. Personally, I do mine just before a
meal to take the edge off my appetite, to make me eat less and more slowly.
I sort of leap-frog my protein supps & food in that way.

I have found the PERFECT prot. supplement for me..! ProBlend 55. It has
55 grams of protein in 8 oz. I like it mixed with water (since it takes
awhile to get down, mixing it with milk gets kinda icky after it's warm).
If I have a day that I'm a little short in the protein department, I just
mix up a 4 oz. shake (with water) and I've instantly gained 27.5 grams of
protein - nearly HALF of my daily requirement!!!!! Go ahead and add ice (I
like mine cold) and enjoy. The chocolate is my favorite. Hope this
helps..
