Question:
Anyone know good exercise to help tone your thighs???
I was in a dressing room today trying on a smaller size pants just for fun (THEY FIT TOO!!), when I got a really good look at myself in the full length mirror. My thighs are totally disgusting. It's all gross flabbiness going on there. My mom is trying to tell me the only way to get rid of that is surgery....I disagree. Does anyone know of some good exercises that focus on toning the upper thigh region?? — bevewy (posted on June 13, 2002)

THE THIGHMASTER BY SUZANNE SOMMERS IT REALLY DOES WORK AND IF YOU BELONG TO
A GYM THERE IS A MACHINE I THINK IT IS CALLED THE HIP ABDUCTOR IT'S TO WORK
THE OUTSIDE AND THE INSIDE OF YOUR THIGHS. GO SLOW AT FIRST BECAUSE IF YOU
DO ALOT THE FIRST TIME YOU WILL WALK FUNNY THE NEXT DAY, SORTA LIKE IF RODE
A HORSE THE DAY BEFORE LOL. HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL JANICE

good for you that you fit into new pants! What a wonderful feeling!! When I
did track and field in highschool we always had do to squats. basically you
stand with your feet about 2 feet apart and squat down and up 10 times. Do
this maybe twice a day, it works your thighs. You will probably start to
see a difference. you will note that it does get you very sore at first,
so you may want to start off slow. Goodluck!

P.S. i meant 2 reps a day, but you only have to do it like 3 times a week.

Squats, squats, squats. And, boy do I hope they work. I was l'il miss
thunder thighs since the day I came into this world. 83.5 pounds down, I've
lost a great deal of weight on them, but man oh man, they are flabby abby.
So, recently added squats in to my routine. I don't know if yours are like
mine, but I still think I'll need surgery. Good luck!
