Question:
Has anyone seen anutritionist on the day of consult?

I have had all the psyc.nutrition,ekg,etc.appts.All i hve to do is the surgery consult and get a date. I got my letter with my consult date and there is another appt with the nutritionist also just before my consult. is this normal? I have seen the nutritionist twice already. or is this for post-op nutrition?    — Sue R. T. (posted on July 9, 2001)

Hi Sue, I saw the nutritionist right after my initial consult. I did see one prior with another program but they wanted me to see theirs since she specializes with weight loss surgery and obesity and all. She even saw me in the hospital before I was dis- charged. I had a phone appt. with her for my 3 week follow up!
