Has anyone seen anutritionist on the day of consult?

I have had all the psyc.nutrition,ekg,etc.appts.All i hve to do is the surgery consult and get a date. I got my letter with my consult date and there is another appt with the nutritionist also just before my consult. is this normal? I have seen the nutritionist twice already. or is this for post-op nutrition?
