Question:
Does anyone else have problems with eating when they are constipated?

I am 5 weeks out of surgery, just starting solids, but I've noticed that if I'm constipated at all, the tiniest nibble of anything makes me want to vomit. As soon as I have a bm I am able to eat again. Is this normal? Any help will be appreciated!!!    — Snoyarc (posted on October 6, 2005)

yes I to have the same problem, and Im almost 4 years out but I have also had a second bypass due to ulcers, so its not unusal for me because I dont have stomach and I also find that I gsa up easy and I hate to be constpated because it hurts so I try not to eat foods that will cause it, try avoiding known foods that cause constipation and see if that helps, and if not contact your doctor and ask questions, it cant hurt to ask and no question about your health is stupid good luch stephanie
