Question:
Do I have a chance of getting approved w/exclusion of surgery>

My BC/BS exclusion is worded as follows: Any services or supplies provided for reduction of obesity or weight, including surgical procedures, even if the Participant has other health conditions which might be helped by a reduction of obesity or weight. I have the same exclusion in my husband's ins. I fought for over a yr. I contacted an attorney that specializes in the obesity law. He said because of the way the exclusion is written, he could not get it over turned. They will not & do not have to pay. So I had to go to my alternate insurance. Good Luck trying
