I am due to have my psych. evaluation in a few days...I am told that you want to have

I have Anthem Blue Access PPO. I contacted Meridian and they authorized the visit. When the bill came, they refused to pay. Once I had the pre-determination approved with Anthem, Meridan paid for one visit, but not the testing. I went to Anthem for an appeal, they paid another $100. I was left with a $200 bill that both companies denied. To be honest, I got tired of playing their game and paid the $200 to get the doctor's billing company off my back. My advice, get the billing details from the doctor first, then call the Anthem CSR to see what's covered an what's not.
