Question:
? Stricture or something else??

I am 4 1/2 months out and down 84lbs. I have had 3 strictures, and perhaps an other one now. Sunday evening I had dinner and about an hour later started vomiting, it lasted over 6 hours, my pouch really hurt, and I could not even keep water down. Then yesterday was fine all day, then today it started again and lasted about 10 hours. I have not changed my foods at all. I don't understand why it is coming and going. I've had 3 strictures myself and it doesn't sound like one to me.But with that much vomiting I would call your surgeon.

I have had four strictures and I couldnt get the food down without pain. Then I would vomit to stop the pain. I knew when I took the first few bites of food when I had a stricture it usually hurts really bad in my chest and back kinda like the food is getting stuck. What you are having is a little different, you should really call your doctor, it is not good for your pouch or your staple line to be vomitting so much.
