Question:
sugar free carnation

I saw my dietitian yesterday. She suggested that I use SF Carnation Instant Breakfast drink. I've tried to find this to no avail -- I thought Wal-Mart had everything! :-) Has anyone else had this trouble. I am 3 1/2 weeks pre-op and I want to find this and try it. I've had trouble finding it too. You can order it over the internet @ netgrocer.com. You can also go to the Carnation Instant Breakfast website and there is a way to look up local retailers in your area that they supply to. Also, you can add 1/2 cup instant dry milk to add more protein.

Safeway always has it, but only the chocolate flavor. You can also order it online.

My surgery date is 11/21 and I have found SR CIB at Stater Bros, it is in a blue box...good luck if you can not find it let the Manager know so he can order it for you...

You may be having problems finding it because it does not say sugar free, it reads no added sugar.

Leanne, if you have a Big Lots store where you live, I found it there and it was 1.99 a box. In Vanilla only.

Pam is right on. It ONLY says "NO SUGAR ADDED" (because there is sugar in milk sugars. Look for the blue box, then look for it to say on the front of the box somewhere, no sugar added. Most stores have this, Safeway, Albertsons, etc. Good luck.

The No Sugar Added Carnation Instant Breakfast is tougher to find than the regular. You can go to www.carnationinstantbreakfast.com to find stores in your area who stock it. Also, you can order cases directly from Carnation. I can't find the order form now but do a search in the library for Carnation Instant Breakfast. I recently answered a question and gave the address and phone number there.

There is no Sugar free carnation. It is No Sugar Added. I am almost 6 months and it is all I use. I tried other higher protein drinks and they all make me sick.

SF CIB varity package of 8 can be purchaced by the case through Abbott Foods. #614 -272-0655 Item # 6370 There are 8 boxs and 8 in a case , 64 total. Price I paid was $34.69 per case. Hope this helps.

My physician suggested CIB as well and I had a hard time finding a local vendor. I ended up checking online at www.carnationintstantbreakfast.com. The website gives you prompts to find a local vendor in your area.
