help me i am having pains in my upper part of my stomach.

i am having pains in my upper part of my stomach. i dont know what it is. i did go to the emergency room and that was no ggod, they only said "well i think your ovalating, because my period was coing. that has been since sunday. the pain is not really bad but im getting a really uncomfortable feeling that i never felt before. is this pain going to go away . and what do you think it can be from . i had a rny in april. and lost 90 lbs so far..........help    — stacey T. Do you still have your galbladder? If you do then go get checked for galstones. It will get worse if that is the problem.

Nice ER!! What a joke!!!!!!!!! About three weeks ago, I also began having pain which felt like it was under my sternum and then under the bottom of my left rib cage. I also went to Urgent Care and was told that was nothing wrong. The pain continued and I ended up in the hospital with an ulcer. They did a scope to find it, but it was easily treated with medication. My advice is to see your surgeon and not waste anymore time/$ with other docs...Best of luck!
