Question:
I need a WLS friendly PCP near Dallas, Texas to work with my DS surgeon.

I live near Dallas, Garland actually, and need to find a WLS friendly PCP that will work with my DS surgeon in California. I saw my regular PCP the other day and he told me to try Weight Watchers again, WLS was too drastic and too many people die. He did not seem to know much about WLS but insisted that it was not a good idea. He feels like WLS surgeons do the surgery for the money then want the PCP to deal with all the problems that follow surgery. I am going to California because I can't find a DS surgeon in Texas. i had no problems with my pcp dr stefanie mccann (972)312-9292 also the surgeon that did my surgey is wonderful dr frank veninga. you should look here before going out of state. both these doctors are in plano
