I need a WLS friendly PCP near Dallas, Texas to work with my DS surgeon.

I live near Dallas, Garland actually, and need to find a WLS friendly PCP that will work with my DS surgeon in California. I saw my regular PCP the other day and he told me to try Weight Watchers again, WLS was too drastic and too many people die. He did not seem to know much about WLS but insisted that it was not a good idea. He feels like WLS surgeons do the surgery for the money then want the PCP to deal with all the problems that follow surgery. I am going to California because I can't find a DS surgeon in Texas. Please Help!!!!!!
